ThriveLink Wins the Inaugural $100,000 Kraft Prize from Mass General Brigham
Selected from nearly 150 national applicants, ThriveLink was named the winner of the first-ever Kraft Prize for Excellence and Innovation in Community Health.
We are honored to share that ThriveLink has been selected as the winner of the inaugural Kraft Prize for Excellence and Innovation in Community Health, awarded by the Kraft Center for Community Health at Mass General Brigham — one of the nation's most respected academic health systems.
Selected from nearly 150 applications submitted from across the country, ThriveLink was recognized for its telephonic AI enrollment platform that empowers families to verbally complete and submit applications for safety-net programs like health insurance, food assistance, and utility support — no smartphone, internet, or literacy required.
The $100,000 prize was announced by Mass General Brigham President and CEO Dr. Anne Klibanski, who called improving community health "the very heart of Mass General Brigham's mission." ThriveLink founder and CEO Kwamane Liddell was also invited to present on two panels at the Mass General Brigham World Medical Innovation Forum in Boston, an event that brings together more than 2,000 global leaders to tackle the hardest problems in health.
The Kraft Prize focuses on five priority areas: cardiometabolic disease, substance use disorder, cancer, maternal health, and social risk mitigation. ThriveLink was recognized for its measurable, community-driven impact in social risk mitigation — connecting the families that other platforms leave behind.
"Every day, we serve families who often feel unseen," said Kwamane Liddell. "ThriveLink winning this award is a powerful reminder to those families that we see you."
